God will go with you wherever you go
In Tennessee or O--HI--O
It doesn't matter if you're east or west
Wherever He sends you--Go knows best.
I'm sure old friends you're leaving behind
Friends are everywhere tho, and plenty you'll find,
It's not like walking the last mile of the way
But just the beginning, wouldn't you say!
Blessings untold are surely ahead
If you go with Him and go unafraid.
So pack up your duds and go with a smile
Let God go with you every mile
Then think of our Savior on Calvary's hill
And thank Him for showing you His precious will.
M/Sgt. Irvin H. Dingus
This little bit of poetry my brother Irvin sent me
when he found out that I was struggling with the
decision to accept the pastorate in Cincinnati.
